Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 March 2026
By using PostFix Pro ("the Service", "we", "us"), you ("the Customer") agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before submitting a fix request.
PostFix Pro is operated as a sole trader under Australian law, New South Wales.
1. Service Description
PostFix Pro provides a software modification service. We analyse CNC post-processor configuration files (including but not limited to Mastercam .pst files and Autodesk Fusion 360 .cps files) against available machine control documentation and provide suggested modifications intended to address the problem described by the Customer.
The Service is a software analysis and modification service only. PostFix Pro does not provide on-site machine programming, machine operation services, or CNC training.
2. No Warranty on Output
ALL MODIFICATIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS-IS". It is the Customer's sole responsibility to verify all output on their machine before production use. PostFix Pro does not guarantee that modifications will be free of errors, suitable for a particular purpose, or compatible with the Customer's specific machine configuration, firmware version, or tooling setup.
CNC machine behaviour varies by firmware version, installed options, machine parameters, and local configuration. Modifications that are correct per control documentation may behave differently on specific machines.
3. Limitation of Liability
PostFix Pro's total liability to the Customer is limited to the amount paid for the specific fix request that gave rise to the claim. PostFix Pro is not liable — under any circumstances, including negligence — for any machine damage, tool breakage, material waste, personal injury, property damage, production losses, lost revenue, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of modified post-processor files.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PostFix Pro excludes all liability not expressly stated in these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or other non-excludable legislation.
4. Refund Policy
PostFix Pro offers a full refund in the following circumstances:
- Our system is unable to generate a confident fix for the reported problem; or
- After manual review, we determine the issue cannot be resolved with the available documentation.
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the fix delivery date. To request a refund, email support@cncpostfix.ai with your request ID. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days.
Refunds are not available where the Customer has verified and applied a fix to production use.
5. Intellectual Property
The Customer retains all ownership and intellectual property rights in their post-processor files. PostFix Pro claims no ownership over Customer files.
Customer files are stored solely for the purpose of delivering the Service. Files are retained for a maximum of 90 days after delivery of the fix, after which they are permanently deleted, unless the Customer has an active subscription that includes extended storage.
6. Machine Manual Uploads
Customers may optionally upload machine control programming manuals to assist with their fix request. By uploading a manual, the Customer warrants that they have the legal right to share that document for this purpose and that such sharing does not violate any applicable copyright, licensing agreement, or confidentiality obligation.
Uploaded manuals may be added to PostFix Pro's internal reference library to improve fix quality for future requests for the same control. Manuals are never shared publicly or sold.
7. Service Improvement
We may use anonymized, de-identified fix data (problem descriptions, code patterns, fix types) to improve our AI pipeline and documentation coverage. This data does not contain any Customer-identifiable information or proprietary post-processor code. Customers may opt out by contacting support@cncpostfix.ai.
8. Acceptable Use
The Service is for legitimate CNC machining purposes only. Customers may not use the Service to:
- Submit files or descriptions that are fabricated, deceptive, or designed to test system limits;
- Automate or script submissions without prior written consent;
- Resell, redistribute, or white-label fixes to third parties without written agreement;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
We reserve the right to refuse service or refund and cancel any request at our discretion.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
